Cameroonian Community of Milwaukee Inc
The Cameroonian Community of Milwaukee Inc., founded in 2003, is a federally recognized 501c (3) and a State of Wisconsin Chapter 181 non-profit organization. To achieve its goals, the organization provides services that promote and encourage the collective culture, social, educational and economic welfare of its members and engage in activities that contribute to the education and welfare of the general community. The organization organizes and participates in many programs that provide an opportunity for Americans and others to learn about Cameroonian and African culture and traditions directly from Africans.
Mission
The mission of the Cameroonian Community of Milwaukee Inc. is to serve as a forum to bring together and unite in purpose people of Cameroonian descent and people associated with Cameroon through friendship, family, business or other ties; and share the diverse heritage and traditions inherent in the rich cultures of Cameroon.
Goals
The goals of the organization are: – Serve as a forum for camaraderie between Cameroonians and other people interested in Cameroonian culture. – Provide support to members of this association in times of joy and need. – Promote the Cameroonian culture in Milwaukee County and State of Wisconsin. – Serve our community and the surrounding public through volunteer activities.
